Build a Strong Marriage and Business in 2023

In this episode, Danisha Rolle, founder of Women of the NFL

and I discuss the intersection of marriage and entrepreneurship and how to build a strong marriage as an entrepreneur in 2023. It’s kicked off by me talking about my own journey, from working since I was 14 years old and eventually transitioning to entrepreneurship after getting married. I went through the challenges I faced due to my husband’s career and the need for flexibility in my own work. I really thought it necessary to emphasize the importance of tackling marriage and entrepreneurship together and supporting each other in every endeavor. It’s vital to hear from others as we all grow in years inside our businesses but most importantly, as we grow in our marriages.

Danisha shares her background in building Women of the NFL from the beginning

including hosting an NFL conference, running a marketing business, and managing a magazine and podcast. She discusses her motivation to create platforms that cater to women in the sports industry and provide a voice for female fans. We both then give highlights of the importance of recognizing women’s contributions and interests in sports and entertainment overall.
